Sword Art Online

In 2022, a new VRMMORPG called Sword Art Online launches, utilizing the NerveGear system to provide a fully immersive experience. Players soon realize they cannot log out, as the game lacks a basic function found in most online games. Stuck in the virtual world of Aincrad, their physical bodies are immobilized by the NerveGear. Players are told they must complete all one hundred floors of the game to escape. However, in this game, death in the virtual world results in death in the real world.
