Ai Yori Aoshi

A college student named Kaoru Hanabishi encounters a confused woman in a kimono at a train station. He offers to help her reach an address in his area, but it leads to an empty space. He takes her to his apartment to search for more clues, and she provides a photo of two children. Kaoru recognizes himself and his childhood friend, Aoi Sakuraba. The woman reveals she is Aoi and his promised fiancée, who traveled to Tokyo to marry him. This revelation brings back memories of why Kaoru had left his family.
