BLACK LAGOON

Okajima Rokuro works as a Japanese businessman in a city populated by others in the same profession. His routine includes drinking with clients and enduring mistreatment from his superiors. He is assigned to travel to the tropical waters of Eastern China to deliver a disc. During the journey, his boat is seized by mercenaries seeking the disc. The mercenaries, led by a woman named Revy, take Rock—Okajima’s new nickname—hostage, believing he can be sold for a ransom. The disc, however, contains a dangerous secret unknown to Rock, leading to widespread confusion and turmoil for both him and his captors.
