The next morning after the incident, D.D., the ship's pilot, explains to Tsubasa that he is a galactic police officer who was en route to return six stolen Maguar eggs to his planet when one of them hatched, causing his ship to crash on Earth and the five remaining eggs to spread across Hokkaido. He also tells Tsubasa that Hikaru is a Ribers - a techno-organic battle armor - that decided not to return to its dormant state after the battle. As D.D. and Hikaru are about to part ways with Tsubasa, the second Maguar egg hatches and incapacitates D.D., forcing Tsubasa and Hikaru to once again fuse together into Figure 17 and destroy the Maguar.
