Funiculì funiculà: Tozan Densha

An adaptation of the 1880 Neapolitan song "Funiculì funiculà," originally written by Luigi Denza and Peppino Turco, was presented in Japanese. The song was performed by the vocal group Duke Aces and aired on NHK's Minna no Uta in April 1961. It was titled "Tozandensha" (Mountain Railway) and featured shadow play by the Kakashiza Shadow Play Theatre. This version is now considered lost media. In June 1970, the Osaka Sumiyoshi Boys and Girls Choir performed the song on the same program, using the original title.
