In the near future, GunPla Battles—competitions involving plastic model Gundams—have gained global popularity during the "Second GunPla Boom." Sei Iori, a middle-school student and son of a model shop owner, is skilled at constructing GunPla but lacks battle experience. He meets Reiji, a mysterious and skilled Gundam Fighter. The two team up with the goal of competing in the GunPla Battle world championships.
