在近未來，GunPla Battle（塑料模型Gundam競技比賽）因「第二次GunPla熱潮」席捲全球而廣受歡迎。中學生伊織星是模型店老闆的兒子，擅長組裝GunPla卻缺乏戰鬥經驗。他遇見了神秘且技術高超的Gundam戰士Reiji，兩人結為搭檔，目標是挑戰GunPla Battle世界錦標賽。
