A man frequently engages in minor theft and vandalism until a man named Endou confronts him. Endou collects debts, and the man owes 3,850,000 yen from a co-signed loan for a former coworker who vanished. Endou offers a solution: joining others on a boat where debtors gamble with borrowed money. Winners reduce their debt, while losers face increased obligations and must work to repay. After some pressure, the man agrees to participate in hopes of resolving his debt and earning money.
