Hyouka

A high school student who prefers to conserve his energy finds himself involved in unexpected events after joining the Classic Literature Club at his sister's suggestion. He discovers that the club has a long and complex history, particularly a mystery surrounding the club room that dates back 45 years. Reluctantly, he becomes part of an investigation alongside his clubmates, including a knowledgeable peer, a strict yet kind member, and a naturally inquisitive girl. Together, they work against time and limited information, using ingenuity and latent abilities to uncover the truth behind the mystery and other related cases. The story is adapted from a prize-winning light novel series and directed by Yasuhiro Takemoto, known for *Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu*. It explores how everyday life can contain small enigmas, such as family secrets, student films, or tales involving faded flowers.
