Tony recalls his past five years ago. After a test his new Screamer jet, he was kept in captivity by terrorists led by Righella along with Ho Yinsen who showed Tony the error of his ways and helped build the prototype Iron Man suit, Yinsen sacrificing himself to allow Tony to escape. Meanwhile a vengeful Kawashima symbiotically merged with Taurus tries to eliminate Tony. Wolverine collaborates with Iron Man to destroy Taurus and rescue Kawashima.
