This is the second season of a series of short animated episodes, originally aired on television and later uploaded to the KADOKAWA Anime YouTube channel. The shorts are also included as bonus content on the Blu-ray and DVD releases of the second season of another series called The Eminence in Shadow. The three volumes of this season contain four episodes each, with Volume 1 holding episodes 1 through 4, Volume 2 covering episodes 5 through 8, and Volume 3 featuring episodes 9 through 12.
