After the first murder, the guests find that they are isolated from the outside world, and that "redrum" is an anagram for "murder". Next, Richard Anderson, the crime psychologist is murdered and then the mystery novel critic, Kusaburo Bando, is found hanged with his doll along with a recording saying that it was he who killed Toma and Anderson.
