Koutetsu Tenshi Kurumi

A scientist named Ayanokoji creates an artificial humanoid with enhanced physical abilities during Japan's Taisho Era. The Imperial Army seeks to use the creation for military purposes, but Ayanokoji intends for it to represent a new stage in human evolution. Disobeying the Army's demands, he conceals the humanoid, naming it Kurumi. A boy named Nakahito Kagura enters Ayanokoji's home as part of a dare and discovers Kurumi in an inactive state. An assault by the Imperial Army damages the house, causing Kurumi to fall onto Nakahito. Their lips touch, and Kurumi becomes active.
