Hayate, Freyja, and Mirage are captured by the Aerial Knights while Messer and the rest of Walküre make a last-ditch effort to rescue them. During their escape, Heinz sings his song, and a wounded Messer must fight off his Var Syndrome infection while Hayate faces off against an infected N.U.N.S. ace pilot for the sake of returning him to his children.
