Taking up where Episode 1 left off, Matsuo Bashō and his apprentice Sora continue their journey to the North, this time crossing Mogami River. Unfortunately, still suffering from his inferiority complex, thinking he is strong enough to block the river, and having seen his teddy bear sabotaged by Sora, Matsuo jumps into the rapid river, causing more insanity than ever before.
