Yato, a minor god struggling financially and without a shrine, faces increasing difficulties. His sword and partner, Hiyori, shows little respect for him. Bishamon, a powerful war god, seeks revenge for the death of her former regalia and intends to kill him. However, the truth behind the situation is more complex than she understands. Meanwhile, an unknown force is working against her. Yato must confront Bishamon despite the overwhelming odds. Amidst the conflict and dangerous confrontations, Yato also tries to help Hiyori, though all possible outcomes risk losing her. He refuses to make that sacrifice, regardless of the cost. His troubles extend far beyond his meager five-yen offerings.
