Nozomi Witches

A boy named Ryoutaro Shiba moves into a new neighborhood and meets a girl named Nozomi Egawa, who is both athletic and an actress. She insists that Ryoutaro become a boxer to help her achieve an unspecified dream. Though unsure of what that dream entails, Ryoutaro has no interest in boxing. Despite this, Nozomi creates a resume claiming he is a boxing prodigy and gets him involved with the school's boxing club. Unexpectedly, Ryoutaro discovers a natural talent for the sport and begins to succeed. As he rises in the winners' circle, he questions how long he can maintain his success and whether he can meet Nozomi's expectations.
