A Japanese adaptation of the 1876 song "My Grandfather's Clock" by Henry Clay Work was aired on NHK's Minna no Uta. The version was performed by Sumito Tachikawa and the Nagato Miho Kagekidan Jidou Gasshoudan. Rokurou Taniuchi provided the artwork. Due to copyright restrictions, the cost of film reels, and tape overwriting, the 1962 recording lacks surviving video footage and is regarded as lost media.
