A monkey raised by humans embarks on a journey to the Holy Mountain with his mother to discover the secret of warmth. Facing numerous challenges, he eventually obtains a fire stone, which burns away his fur and transforms him into a human. The film, inspired by a Qiang legend from southwest China, is presented in traditional Chinese ink painting style, offering a poetic depiction of early human life. It explores enduring themes like personal growth and friendship.
