Hiroki and Kanata have known each other since childhood. After Hiroki attempts to rescue a young girl and is involved in an accident, he finds himself looking down at his own body. Disconnected from his body, Kanata, and his surroundings, he struggles to understand the situation. His body appears to be functioning normally, but he cannot communicate with Kanata or anyone else.
