Seikai no Monshou

A science fiction novel series serves as the basis for this first entry in a sci-fi saga. The narrative centers on Jinto, whose planet is conquered by the galaxy's most powerful empire, the Abh. Jinto's father, the prime minister, surrendered the planet to the Abh in exchange for status within the empire, resulting in Jinto being sent away for an Abh education. There, he meets Lafiel, a princess of the Abh Empire, and they form a friendship despite her initial aloofness. The Abh Empire soon becomes embroiled in war, and the story progresses from that point. The final episode is approximately 40 minutes long, longer than the usual 24-minute runtime.
