Lafiel becomes enraged by the blatant contempt shown toward Jinto and the subservient behavior of the female vassals, who act like body slaves. Baron Klowal, the third baron of Febdash, reveals his intention to detain Lafiel to protect his domain from the enemy. As a young and ambitious noble, Klowal views his relatively new and insignificant territory as a source of embarrassment within the vast empire. His actions are driven by a desire to preserve his status and avoid the consequences of his domain's existence being discovered by hostile forces.

In Sufugnoff, Jinto persuades Lafiel to enter the city of Lune Biga for supplies and improved living conditions. To bypass the United Mankind occupation, Jinto must secure effective disguises and manage Lafiel’s tendency toward self-sacrifice. Simultaneously, at the police headquarters, Inspector Entryua expresses dissatisfaction regarding the occupation army's interference in local law enforcement matters. He is assigned to work with Lt. Kyte, a military police officer from the United Mankind who is actively pursuing specific targets. This collaboration initiates a manhunt directed at Jinto and Lafiel as they attempt to navigate the occupied city under their new identities.

United Mankind army units locate them before reaching Min's villa. Amidst heavy firefights, they escape underground and separate to evade capture. Meanwhile, the Abh navy overwhelms the enemy in space, reclaiming the Suffugnoff space as remaining forces attempt a final escape.
EP 13Jinto and Lafiel escape Guzunyu Fantasy Park and reach the capital amid personal tragedies.
Mar 28, 1999Jinto and Lafiel arrive at the evacuating Guzunyu Fantasy Park, where robotic mascots hinder their escape while blocking pursuers. Facing both hostile forces and waiting local police, they avoid surrender due to Lt. Kyte’s bitterness toward the Abh. Marca’s group rescues them after identifying Lafiel’s Abriel ears, securing her promise to advocate for their cause with the Empress. "The Undertaker" returns them to space via a funeral facility, where Jinto vows to stay by her side until his next coffin journey. Rear Admiral Spoor’s men rescue their coffin, allowing them to reach the capital. There, Lafiel learns about her mother’s life, while Jinto receives news of his father’s execution following the Hyde Star System’s defection to the coalition against the Abh Empire. Orphaned and homeless, Jinto reaffirms his resolve to remain with Lafiel for the rest of his life.
