A fifth-grade transfer student, Amu Hinamori, presents herself as stylish, tough, and self-reliant, yet appears distant in both her home and school environments. Her "Cool and Spicy" persona is an unconscious mask. Alongside her guardian characters, she opposes the Easter Company, which is harvesting human eggs to produce X Eggs and X Characters, aiming to find a unique egg known as the Embryo.
