Sidonia no Kishi: Ai Tsumugu Hoshi

Following the destruction of Earth by the alien Gauna, the last humans took refuge aboard the massive generation ship Sidonia. After a long journey through space, the ship was attacked by the Gauna again after a century of silence. A temporary reprieve was achieved through the efforts of Tsumugi Shiraui, a human-Gauna hybrid, and Nagate Tanikaze, a skilled Guardian mech pilot. A decade later, the Sidonia's inhabitants experience a period of calm. During this time, Tsumugi begins to understand her emotions for Nagate, now regarded as a hero. However, Captain Kobayashi is aware that peace is fragile as long as the Gauna exist. A final confrontation is decided, one that will determine the survival of the last humans. As this battle nears, the crew must fight to protect those they care about.
