A group of travelers, including Lina, Gourry, Amelia, and Zelgadiss, visit the coastal town of Acassi, known for its octopus tentacle dish. After consuming the food, they are cursed and can only speak in Takogo, an octopus language. The octopuses, seeking to eliminate the humans, summon a mazoku for help. To resolve the situation, the white sorceress Ruma must find her former master to learn how to lift the curse and save the town.
