In 19th-century Paris, a young vampire named Noé seeks the Book of Vanitas. During an attack by a deranged vampire, a human steps in, saves Noé, and heals the afflicted creature. This individual, who identifies as Vanitas and controls the book, proposes a reckless mission to cure all vampires. While forming an alliance with someone who handles supernatural forces effortlessly carries risks, Noé must decide whether he can afford to refuse.
