Somewhere across the vastness of space lies another planet identical in appearance to our own Earth, known as Aemu Earth. There, romantic love is treated as a disease, and any behavior that could provoke it is outlawed, leaving inhabitants to live without the emotional currents most people take for granted. The status quo begins to crack when an unexplained surge of "love sickness" starts spreading among the population, with growing numbers of citizens displaying symptoms that defy the world's strict prohibitions and threaten the careful order that has long defined their reality.
