Atom Cat

Tsugio finds comfort in reading "Tetsuwan Atom" comics with his father while enduring bullying at school. Lonely and friendless, he discovers an abandoned kitten and names it after the robot hero to persuade his family to keep it. After an unusual encounter with aliens visiting Earth, Tsugio is astonished to learn that his cat can talk and possesses the same abilities as the comic book character. Bound by secrecy, he and the cat face a series of challenges involving demonic cats, ghostly pirates, a criminal organization, and other mysteries.
