A man named Ryou Takagi is attacked by a motorcycle gang after leaving a club where he was playing trumpet. The fight leads to a traffic accident, resulting in Ryou's arrest and imprisonment. After serving his sentence, he emerges as a trained boxer, yet ongoing difficulties persist in his life. The manga received the Shogakukan Manga Award in the shounen category in 1989.
