Bakumatsu Yankee

A foreigner arrives on the coast of an area controlled by the Shinsengumi during the Edo period. The man is given the nickname "Yankee" and develops a close relationship with Souji Okita, the group's leader. As their friendship grows, so does their skill in combat. The Shinsengumi confronts challenges that threaten their authority, prompting Okita and Yankee to take action against adversaries in an effort to expand their influence across Japan.
