As modern technology advanced, humans stopped worshiping weather deities, causing Yushi, the Rain God, to lose his influence. He descends to Earth as "Shi Yu" to regain his power. Shi Yu is recruited by a dishonest talent manager and joins a struggling entertainment company as a trainee. He is sent to compete on the talent show "I am an Idol," where his lack of social awareness leads to various mishaps. Despite this, he gains popularity and debuts as part of the boy group SWEN with three other members. Later, he learns that Yang Dongjun and Zhong Yun, his bandmates, are also deities who came to Earth seeking work and a way to restore their lost faith.
