A high school student named Yachi Haruaki possesses a natural resistance to curses. His father, Honatsu, sends him cursed objects known as "Worse" to destroy. One day, Haruaki receives a black cube from his father. That night, he meets a silver-haired girl who appears naked and is stealing rice crackers. She is the human form of the black cube, a torture instrument called "Fear in Cube." Haruaki and the girl, named Fear, team up to battle other "Worse" instruments and their users, utilizing Fear's 32 torture mechanisms.
