Choko-tan!

A dog named Chokotan can communicate with humans using their language. Nao, who owns Chokotan, is fond of a boy named Arima, who also owns a dog called Hatsupi. On Hatsupi’s birthday, Nao bakes biscuits suitable for both dogs and humans. While walking with Chokotan, Nao and the dog encounter Arima and Hatsupi on the street. Nervous, Nao flees before giving the biscuits to Arima. Chokotan supports Nao, helping her decide to return and deliver the biscuits. The story explores whether Nao can overcome her shyness to talk to Arima, as well as Chokotan’s hidden ability.
