Green Light

A high school freshman named Shotaro Izumi struggles with the consequences of a past comment directed at his childhood friend, Makoto Natsuki. Natsuki is widely admired for his appearance and personality, gaining popularity and a large following. Izumi's previous remark led to his isolation and a ruined friendship. As Natsuki's fame grows, Izumi's bitterness and social exclusion deepen. When Natsuki seeks to make amends, Izumi jokingly suggests they date. Unexpectedly, Natsuki takes the suggestion seriously and pursues it.
