Hariyama-san

In Tokorozawa, Saitama, a series of bizarre incidents unfold, including urban legends, a potential killer lurking beneath a bed, magical girls appearing through ceilings, a secluded island where everyone is fated to be a hero, and unexplained disappearances. These events, though seemingly unrelated, all connect back to one individual—Hariyama-san. An otherwise unremarkable person, the only thing distinguishing him is his glasses. He consistently appears in each situation, yet his role remains unclear. The narrative consists of interconnected short stories, each featuring Hariyama-san as a minor character.
