Detective Torimaru struggles to capture the elusive Kaitou Hato, a cat burglar who challenges him with riddles and hints. Unbeknownst to him, Kaitou Hato is the owner of a café frequented by Torimaru's team. As his anger shifts to admiration, Torimaru grows more perplexed, particularly when it becomes clear that Kaitou Hato has a romantic partner and that the thief's choices of targets are not entirely random.
