Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai: Utsutsukowashi-hen

Maebara Keiichi moves to the peaceful town of Hinamizawa and enjoys school and time spent playing games with friends. A report about a murder in the town marks the beginning of disturbing events, revealing that Keiichi’s friends may not be trustworthy. This manga is based on an amateur mystery game by 7th Expansion and is presented through various scenarios. The Utsutsukowashi-hen scenario is exclusive to the manga and includes characters different from those in the game versions, with some overlaps. It centers on Kousaka Mizuho and Sonozaki Shion, focusing on murders occurring at their school. The manga includes two additional chapters, one of which features characters from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: Onisarashi-hen and serves as an epilogue for that scenario, differing from the one already included in that series.
