Hokuto no Ken: The Origins

Kenshiro Kasumi is the successor to the Hokuto Shinken, a traditional martial art. His girlfriend, Yuki, sees an attack carried out by the Taizanji Kenpo, a rival martial arts school, and is killed as a result. Seeking revenge for her death, Kenshiro is wrongfully accused and charged with the crime.
