Hoshi no Densetsu Agartha

A girl fascinated by UFOs and the works of Ishimori-sensei, Remi Tachibana, discusses her interests with him when a young man named Shun Kuroki enters, seeking to become Ishimori's assistant. Remi and Shun quickly connect, and he is hired. Unusual events soon follow, and Shun seems to be concealing something. Remi becomes entangled in a strange story reminiscent of the science fiction manga she admires. Set in the mountainous region of Akita, this is Ishinomori's effort at creating a genuine, extended shojo manga blending science fiction and romance.
