In a world where humans are governed by the Yuugenshu, survival on the floating land of Obia Craire depends on the Priestess' prayers. Yumi, the barrier priestess, waits for Shelltis, her childhood friend, who was exiled as a heretic. Before leaving, he vowed to return to her. The story explores the emotions of a girl who comprehends the world and a boy who is cast out by it, set within a layered fantasy world.
