Terada Youhei is a typical high school student with the unusual ability to see ghosts. One evening, he encounters a ghost known as "Rooftop Rinko-san," who haunts the rooftop of his school. Rinko had no friends in life, and this loneliness seems to influence her behavior as a ghost. She may prevent anyone who meets her from leaving the rooftop. The story follows the comedic relationship that develops between Youhei and the clumsy ghost girl.
