Shunpei Closer struggles with low self-esteem and feels he has no talents. He owns a teddy bear named Hyde, given to him by his grandfather, Alsyd Closer, who was once the King of Sorcerers. After experiencing a mysterious attack, Shunpei discovers he is being targeted by sorcerers worldwide. Hyde becomes his primary protector and guide, helping him develop the inherited magic he possesses. Shunpei must learn to believe in himself and use his abilities to defend against the dark forces now pursuing him.
