Kamen Rider EVE: MASKED RIDER GAIA

A manga by Hayase Masato that began in Tokusatsu Ace in 2004, it is a follow-up to the original Kamen Rider series. Ishinomori had outlined the plot before his death. It was initially intended to replace Kamen Rider Spirits but was postponed. A compilation of the first six chapters was released in 2007 by Kodansha. Thirty years prior to the creation of the original Kamen Riders, Kadowaki Jun was set to become the first Kamen Rider, but Shocker altered plans after Hongo's escape. Before activation, the double riders attacked the Shocker base, burying Kadowaki in a sleep capsule under the rubble. He awakens in the present with no memory, seeking to recover his past and uncover who transformed him into a cyborg.
