Kappa no Kaikata

A man buys a kappa from a pet shop and names it Kaatan. Having no prior experience, he uses a book to guide him in raising and training the creature. The book suggests simple methods for developing a smart and well-mannered kappa, but applying these proves difficult. Kaatan initially appears to understand instructions but often forgets them or shows no interest in learning. Despite these challenges, the man remains patient and continues his efforts to train Kaatan, hoping to turn it into a satisfactory pet.
