Katsugeki / Touken Ranbu

In 1863, as the samurai era nears its end, Japan is divided between pro- and anti-shogunate forces. A group from the future, aiming to change history, threatens the world’s fate. To stop them, two sword spirits, awakened by a sage, travel to Edo. One is the courteous and reflective Horikawa Kunihiro, and the other is the hot-tempered but talented Izuminokami Kanesada, who once served the same lord. They join forces with others like Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki, Yagen Toushirou, Tombokiri, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga to face the invading army. The outcome of history now rests with these warriors, though the full story remains to be revealed.
