Giyu travels to a northern region where a group of demon slayers was killed, joining forces with the Insect Hashira to investigate. They encounter Yae, a girl whose hunter father was killed, as she wrongly suspects a bear was responsible. Meanwhile, Kyojuro is given a new mission, hoping to prove his worth as Flame Hashira, a title his father once abandoned. He confronts a demon from the Twelve Kizuki who seeks revenge against his father, leading to a violent clash.
