Kimi ga Denwa wo Kakete Ita Basho

A high school boy receives a mysterious call from a public phone late at night. The caller proposes a challenge: she will remove his birthmark, which he believes has caused him many troubles, in exchange for him trying to win the affection of a girl he sees as unattainable within fifty days. This sets in motion an unusual summer. The story is divided into two volumes: the first from the caller's perspective, and the second from the boy's.
