A popular online game, Elder Tales, unexpectedly trapped thirty thousand players inside its virtual world after the release of its 12th expansion. Players are unable to return to the real world, experience tasteless food, and face permanent consequences upon death. The game has become lawless, making survival difficult without the support of a strong guild. Shiroe, along with his friends Naotsugu and Akatsuki, embarks on a journey to explore and understand the new reality they are stuck in.
