A character named Keiko experiences a strong aversion to foreigners due to a past traumatic experience, which makes her uncomfortable around people with blonde hair and blue eyes. Though such individuals are rare in Japan, her life is disrupted when her boyfriend Takara returns from the U.S. with a blonde, blue-eyed stepbrother who shows interest in her.
