A man named Kurosawa, who spent a decade in a manzai comedy duo, faces hardship when his partner leaves due to their waning success. He tries to cope by drinking but ends up in a detention center. There, he meets a delinquent named Onizuka, who shows a surprising talent for comedy. The two form a new manzai partnership.
